Nubian Noire African and Caribbean Food Fest 2023 is BACK again for the third year running to coincide with Leeds's biggest colourful and vibrant West Indian Street Carnival which takes place on Monday 28 August 2023 Bank Holiday Weekend.

From: 10am till 5 pm
Come and checkout the sweet-smelling aroma of the Caribbean and let your taste buds indulge in an array of African continental and Caribbean Island authentic cuisines from around the world from Caribbean vegan dishes curry goat rice and peas Jollof rice egusi soup fufu Jerk chicken ackee and saltfish meat patties and traditional homemade rum cakes you name.
If you think it stops there! Joining us again we have our independent Caribbean Cocktail Pop-up bar with their array of specialist signature cocktails and rum punch to quench those taste buds.
So what’s it all about?
We aim to restore and raise national awareness of the African and Caribbean culinary skills tradition and food legacy by celebrating and showcasing family traditional recipes passed down from generation to generation showcased by emerging and established food vendors citywide. This is an event not to be missed!
There will be a live food demonstration.
