Join COMTO Miami Chapter Annual Black History Event. This Years Theme Is:
African Americans & Labor: Celebrating Unity, Strength, and Progress in History
Join us for an evening of hope, inspiration, and strength as we honor the legacy of Joseph Caleb, an activist, labor leader, and hero who fought for the rights of the Black working man. Discover how his contributions shaped labor movements in Miami and beyond, and celebrate his lasting impact on our community.
Insights to the event includes:
- A tribute to Joseph Caleb's life and work
- Delicious food, live music, and raffles
- A fashion show, fun activities, and networking opportunities
- The chance to connect with community leaders and like-minded individuals
We will be recognizing and celebrating the ongoing contributions of local unions, including:

- United Teachers of Dade (UTD)
