Join us for our first film of the 10th season of the African American Film Series! This month, we are showing 'Butterfly in the Sky', a documentary that chronicles the journeys of broadcasters, educators and filmmakers who believed television could inspire a lifelong love of reading with the acclaimed PBS show, Reading Rainbow (1983).
Doors open and dinner begins at 5:30pm with live entertainment and free museum entrance. The movie will begin at 6:45. A short discussion will occur after the film with local experts.
