About this Event

Africa Djawa, meaning "Africa Rejoicing," is a one-of-a-kind, unique, festive community event designed to increase the knowledge of and cultural pride in the history, strengths, and contributions of traditional and modern African cultures through a lively, colorful African performance. Doors open at 5:00 pm for VIP guests and event sponsors who will be joining us for a traditional African dinner.

Doors open at 5:45 pm to the general public, followed by our evening performance at 6:30 pm. Come early to socialize and shop in our "African Village"! Several local vendors on site will sell traditional African art, crafts, clothing, jewelry, and food.
