Join us for an evening of new songs for the church, from the church. Local songwriters including Phil Wilks and Andrew Clayton present their works along with fresh songs from Resound Worship and material developed in this year’s 12 Song Challenge. St Matthew’s Church has committed to use some of these new songs the following day at their 10:45 and Evening services.
Church music comes in many forms, from Psalms and the early hymns through to Isaac Watts 350 years ago and the latest worship anthems from today’s popular songwriters. In the local church too, songwriters are creating new material to help us worship God and engage with His glory and goodness.
