AFPSS BIPOC Fundraisers Affinity Group

This BIPOC Fundraisers Affinity Group will meet every month on the first Wednesday during lunch hour to allow AFP members to self-identify and have this informal way to connect, network and build relationships with one another. The BIPOC Affinity Group will create casual conversations for you to share stories, ask questions, provide resources and build friendships. Facilitated by AFP South Sound board members Emily Mendez-Bryant and Jennifer Li Dotson.

Please join us for a Meet and Greet for the BIPOC Affinity Group at “Music on the Square” located in University Place – on Wed, August 3rd, starting at 6pm. Let’s have some fun and enjoy good Cajun/Creole food, drinks and company! This is a "No Host" event, food and drinks are up to attendees.

*Featured band is File Gumbo - zydeco - with Velvet's Big Easy (Cajun/Creole) They have been playing zydeco and their own unique blend of Louisiana music since 1988. They have recorded multiple albums, performed weekly at Seattle's famous New Orleans Creole Restaurant for 15 years, and played at Bumbershoot, among many other music festivals.
