AFPSS BIPOC Affinity Group celebrates Black History Month! Join us at a panel discussion on Racial Equity and Social Justice.
About this Event

For our February meeting and to celebrate Black History Month, we will be joining the Tacoma Public Library – Moore Branch (215 South 56th Street, Tacoma 98408) on February 8th from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, who will be hosting a Racial Equity and Social Justice panel discussion featuring Black and African American speakers from Tacoma: Reverend Bob Penton, Lyle Quasim, and Wanda Thompson. The purpose of this panel is to share perspectives about racial equity and social justice. They will give their insights about a variety of topics impacting our community. Following the panel, the speakers will take questions from the audience. Light refreshments will be provided. Please come join the conversation with us!
