The AFAP will present an overview of employment entitlements under the Air Pilots Award and relevant workplace legislation for commercial pilots.The seminar will also include a safety and technical update (including fatigue management) and highlight how General Aviation pilots—fixed wing and rotary—can access AFAP services such as professional development, mentoring and welfare support.
Representatives from the AAP Mutual Benefit Fund will outline exclusive loss of licence cover for AFAP members.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, raise issues and network with other pilots. AFAP and AAPMBF representatives, along with industrial, legal and safety staff, will be available for discussion.
