Longest Night invites you to enter into a meta-galactic confluence, an exploration of multiple realms, born between 4 artists.
-Irma Beširević-
Irma Beširević explores humanity's evolving relationship with technology and the ongoing technological revolution through new-media art and performance. Her work spans a wide range of materials and media, focusing on the raw, non-directed technological (readymade digital), the human body (and its digital twin), and transparent plastic, with themes of the meta-digital influenced by Fluxus and artistic research. She studied modern dance at the Royal Swedish Ballet School before earning her bachelor's degree in intermedia art in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is currently pursuing her master's at HDK-Valand in Gothenburg. Beširević's work includes commissions from the city of Banja Luka, several solo exhibitions, and representation by Vagon Gallery since 2021.

Stefan Oreščanin, a.k.a. vapourmind, is a sound artist and electronic musician currently based in Gothenburg. Through his transformations of sonic textures from the natural world, paired with evocative melodies and textured beats, he explores soundscapes that transport the listener into new zones. He is currently working on the album ‘Dualism’; a project where field recordings from the artist’s excursions into nature are woven together to form a narrative that depicts a journey into the spirit dimension.

Artist and producer Linn Österberg a.k.a. Dimming blends ambient and electronic elements where shimmering details meet darker undercurrents. The Scandinavian musician, based just outside Gothenburg, who runs her own studio on the West coast has discreetly been releasing her work as Dimming since 2020. Upcoming album ’Drift’, which will be out later this year, is a collection of six songs, inspired by the ocean at night, and is built upon a base of field recordings from Osterberg’s hometown’s seaside.

After many years of playing guitar based music, Jonas shifted his focus seeking other forms of expression within the electroacoustic field, viewing his work as an ongoing exploration of the human versus the mechanical, sonically and musically. He’s interested in the physical experience of rhythm, and the emotional of the atonal and abstract, and the relationship between musician and audience in a shared space.
