Step into a new dimension of teaching with our Aerial Yoga Foundations training -- a dynamic, hands-on introduction to working with the yoga hammock. This standalone training is perfect for those curious about aerial yoga, and it can also be applied as an elective toward the 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher pathway at Insight Wisdom Center.
This module blends creativity, safety, and skill-building to give you a strong foundation in aerial practice. You’ll learn how to confidently guide students through a basic aerial yoga class, while also gaining essential knowledge in hammock tying and introductory rigging techniques.
The training includes:
16 hours of in-person instruction in Madison (Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-13, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.)
4 hours of asynchronous coursework to be completed prior to the first day
Whether you're expanding your teaching toolkit or exploring something new, this training will equip you with the confidence and competence to begin teaching aerial yoga in a safe, accessible, and engaging way.
Upon registration, you will be directed to our online learning portal to access your manual and materials. This portal will be accessible to you by July 31, 2026, and you will have lifetime access to the materials. Questions? Email [email protected].
