Amy Thai and Kristina Zion have joined forces to combine our passions of dance, movement, and aerial arts.
Please join us for an Aerial Burlesque workshop where we will tap into our divine sensual selves. Feel sexy, comfortable, and confident in your own skin! Participants will be led through an aerial warm up before diving into burlesque choreography with the added element of the aerial hammock.
Our workshop is all inclusive- all levels, genders, and sizes are welcome! No dance or aerial experience necessary. Come feel the empowerment and liberation that burlesque has to offer! Bring your favorite heels for pictures in the hammocks after the workshop!
Things to Bring: Water, a charged phone for photos/videos, and wear anything that makes you feel good and you can move in. (Optional: knee pads for floor work and heels for photos after).

Facilitators
Amy started her aerial yoga journey in 2018, she fell in love and started taking many classes. She got certified as an instructor in 2019 by Galaxy Lifestyle in San Diego. She specializes in combining creative sequencing, playfulness and a dose of strengthening in all her classes. Her goal is to get you to build up the foundational poses and technique required to be successful in sequencing and aerial dance. On top of teaching weekly classes, Amy hosts specialized aerial workshops including: aerial burlesque, acro-aerial, aerial skills, and aerial dance. In her free time, Amy loves going camping, photography, building charcuterie/pupcuterie boards, hosting elaborate dinners and cuddling with her pup Tsuki.

Kristina Zion, founder of Upside Down Lady Aerial, is a passionate, fun-loving Kid’s Aerial instructor. In addition to 10 years of personal yoga practice and 3 years of dance and aerial arts, Kristina also has a Master’s degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Mental Health. In August 2019, Kristina completed Playful Peace Yoga’s Kids Aerial Teacher Training and has been committed to sharing the incredible practice of aerial yoga with the children in our community ever since. With her vast knowledge in both psychology and movement, Kristina creates a safe space for children to grow, build confidence, and foster a greater sense of self.
