You are invited by PYC and their clients atTy Du to an afternoon site visit, presentations and networking opportunities at the recently build I-beam, passive house standards, timber frame house on behalf of the AECB & Passivhaus Trust Local Group for Mid & North Wales.

1.30 pm for a 2.00pm start on Wednesday 9 September

Presentations will be run by Lowri Roberts, architect of Ty Du, PYC Construction the offsite manufacturers of the house; 21° windows and MVHR suppliers; the Passive House Trust and AECB

Following the site visit and presentations everyone is invited to come to The White Lion Royal Hotel in Bala for a meal and further networking. (Meals to be booked and paid for directly by attendees) Agenda

Parking: There is plenty of parking space available but please car share where possible

Programme for the day:

Arrival from 1.30pm

2:00pm – Welcome to Ty Du on behalf of the AECB & PHT – Tabitha Binding

2.30pm – Introduction to Ty Du by Architect Lowri Roberts

2.45pm – Description of the design and construction of the house by PYC team. Presentation of the construction system and materials used such as Warmcel

3.30pm – Presentation on getting the best performance from windows with the suppliers 21

4:00pm – Q and A regarding the project and further tour of Ty Du

5:00pm – Close
