Dayton Janz

Consultant | IG Private Wealth Management

Dayton was raised in Winfield, BC, his entire life until he purchased his first home in Kelowna, BC in 2016. As a proud member of the Tetlit Gwich'In First Nations, he uses his own actions to continue reconciliation in his practice.

Being a child from a 60's scoop parent, he feels it is part of his duty to spread awareness around this matter. His career started in the construction industry, but a motor-vehicle accident made him rethink his life-course and ultimately led him to finance to serve people. In 2018, Dayton joined IG Wealth Management with a passion to help others build their financial well being. He has been in the top 10 of his tenure since he started at IG. He enjoys being able to work alongside clients and deliver advice that helps protect, create, and sustain their families’ wealth for generations to come.

Dayton is currently studying to take his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERÂŽ (CFP) designation. He has his Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designation.

Frank Busch

Director of Economic Development | Strategies North

Frank is a member of the Nisichawayasihk (Nee-chise-away-a-see) Cree Nation and grew up in Northern Manitoba. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Indigenous Studies from the University of Manitoba, 5 certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Finance from Harvard University.

He serves on the Board of Directors of three publicly traded companies, and as such is a registered “insider” on the Toronto and New York Stock Exchanges (TSX and NYSE). As Director of Economic Development, Frank is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with First Nations and providing information and advice to First Nation Councils, Staff and Membership that increases awareness of access to the Capital Markets, Private Equity & Debt Financing, Investment Strategy, as well as Financial Education.

He is also a published author and past recipient of the Burt Award for First Nations, Metis and Inuit Literature for his fiction novel “Grey Eyes”.

Erin Wilson, CIMA, CIM

VP Private Wealth Management | IG Wealth Management

Erin joined IG in November 2020. She has spent the past 20+ years in financial services working her way up through the industry in a variety of roles.

From 2010 – 2020 she served as a portfolio construction specialist for a major Canadian asset manager, working with over 400 HNW advisor practices.

Erin believes in on-going learning and reading widely across different industries. She earned her Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Investments and Wealth Institute and has completed variety of courses from the CSI. Beyond traditional industry designations she has completed courses such as Coaching and Change, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Words That Change Minds, Mastering Influence, and Sleight of Mouth.

Erin is married to her husband Ray and they live in Calgary, AB. When not spending time with Ray she can be found at Orangetheory or out on her bike enjoying the beautiful views of the rolling Alberta foothills.

Rob holds a Certified Financial Planner designation, (C.F.P.), a proud member and Volunteer of Advocis –the Financial Advisors Association of Canada. He has volunteered many hours of his time to advocate with Government and Regulators on behalf of Advisors. He is licensed to sell Life, and Accident and Sickness insurance.

Rob has a basic process for meeting and dealing with clients but he tailors his solutions to each client’s unique needs. Because he deals with Business Owners, Retirees, Professionals, Families etc, he has continually educated himself on the various needs that clients have. This includes assistance with investments, insurance, tax and estate planning advice etc.

Eric started his financial services career with a major life insurance company in 1977. After an initial period as a representative; he went on to three separate management careers. Since January 2002 he has been an independent advisor and principal of Lidemark Financial Group Inc.

Throughout his management career, Eric always maintained a client base and is proud to point out that he has had some clients continuously for over thirty years.

Eric’s volunteer work includes serving on the National Board of Advocis (The Financial Advisors Association of Canada) and on the leadership group of the Pacific Pool Alliance (my pool league).

Eric is a season ticket holder for the BC Lions and watches Blue Jays games as much as possible. In the winter he plays pool one or two nights weekly. Golf is a constant challenge. The goal of breaking 100 is occasionally realized.

In business and in life, Eric has tried to live by his 3 R’s: Reliability, Responsibility and Respect.
