Advocacy Across Disciplines:

This workshop will include a variety of activities and tutorials relating to various aspects of environmental justice. Interweaving the work of redhouse studio, Collective Citizens Organized Against Lead, My Grow Connect, and Food Strong, the day will include a conversation or demonstration with an instructor from each organization. For Food Strong’s portion, “we will offer an interactive culinary workshop creating our original healing garlic soup recipe using fresh herbs, mushrooms, and vegetables, and discuss the health benefits of the ingredients and how they are cultivated.”
