Calling all adventurers and sailing enthusiasts! Are you ready to experience the thrill of big boat sailing?This is Leg 2 of the Lands End Challenge Voyage! Join us as we set sail from Plymouth to Gosport and explore the Solent. This isn’t just a sail — it’s an unforgettable adventure where you will develop your seamanship skills with fellow sailors.
* Take the helm on a 72-foot yacht built for challenge and teamwork
* Hone your navigation and passage planning skills as we sail on the South Coast and in the Solent
* Bring a passport as if the wind is in the right direction and time allows we might head offshore
* Tick off long passages and working in a watch system
Whether you are building seamiles for your next qualification, shaking off your sailing cobwebs or simply wanting to try something new and have fun and adventure, this is your chance to be part of something special.
**This voyage is Leg 2 of a 10 day voyage so if you have more time available you can double up and book on Leg 1! - and get a discount on your booking. Leg 1 of the voyage will sail around Lands End. Strictly over 18's only. Suitable for solo travellers, couples or small groups.
ITINERARY
Leg 2: Join Plymouth Thursday 25th September (4pm) and enjoy a boat cooked evening meal together. We will explore the Solent and you will depart Gosport Monday 29th September at 6pm.
Guests are welcome to stay an extra night on the evening of Monday 29th September at no extra cost to help travel arrangements getting home but you will need to find your own dinner. There are lots of places to eat including in the nearby Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth Harbour and the Lightship in Gosport.
*As with all sailing voyages, weather conditions will determine our passage and port stops. Please bring a passport – although visiting an overseas port is not guaranteed.
