Cory is the Director of Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates, a mountain bike trail-building, and advocacy organization that serves the Pikes Peak region. He is also a traveler, adventurer, and sometimes rock climber. Cory started rock and ice climbing in the mid-90s in Western Canada and continued to build this experience while studying in the UK.
Description of Presentation: A review of a Christmas trip to Morocco with a fellow student rock climber in December 2000. The majority of the sport climbing was in the Todra Gorge of the High Atlas mountains near Marrakech, with stops in Tangiers, Casablanca, Fez, and Chefchaouen. The trip occurred during the holy month of Ramadan which enhanced the cultural and nutritional experiences.
