Scientifically proven to reduce stress, boost mood, and enhance overall well-being, Forest Bathing offers a unique opportunity to unplug from the demands of modern life and embrace the healing properties of nature. Adventure into the heart of nature with our Forest Bathing Experience co-hosted by Trees Atlanta + Jess Pfeffer Holistic Event Planning. Led by certified forest bathing guide Dara Ashworth, this immersive session invites you to engage in mindful exploration amidst the greenery of an urban forest. Connect with the natural world as you partake in gentle exercises, deep breathing, and sensory awareness activities designed to foster relaxation and rejuvenation.Studies show that spending time with trees can benefit both your body and your mind. Immersing oneself in nature can reduce your blood pressure, decrease stress-related hormones such as cortisol, and elevate your mood. In the 1980s, the Japanese coined this experience “Forest bathing” or Shinrin-yoku. Join us for an opportunity to take a break from the hustle of our lives and spend some time in Atlanta’s forest.
