Experience Madison by bike, and learn to be a safe, independent cyclist. Travel via the shared path network and streets to explore the lakes, UW Arboretum, parks, and more!
Open to rising 5th and 6th grade students.
Camp runs Monday to Friday 9am-4:00pm.
Campers must know how to ride a bike and be comfortable riding and being outside with a bike all day (with rests at fun stops). Safe riding techniques from our Bicycle Driver’s Ed curriculum will be the focus the first couple of days along with short rides becoming longer towards the end of the week as the group progresses and gains more confidence and skill. Some of our previous campers have ridden up to 20 miles in a day!

Participants must bring their own bike, helmet and water bottle, lunch and a backpack/panniers for carrying food and personal gear.

While our staff are able to make minor fixes or adjustments, we strongly encourage your child’s bike to be looked over at our partner bike shop prior to camp. Please make repair appointments early. Bike shops get very busy in the spring and summer.
