Adventure Awaits - Swamp Tromp at Hungryland Slough Natural Area

REGISTRATION OPENS 2/4/26 @ 12PM

Ever wonder what’s off the trail at Hungryland Slough Natural Area? Come slog through the wetlands with ERM staff at one of Palm Beach County's largest natural area and see what wonders are hiding off the beaten path.
This will be a 1.5 mile hike with knee deep water in some locations, so you may want to bring a towel and some dry clothes/shoes for after the hike.
Please bring a water bottle so that you can fill it up before the hike.

We recommend wearing long pants and closed-toed shoes. You will probably want to bring a change of clothes. We will have a water cooler but please bring a reusable water-bottle along with bug spray and sunscreen.

Parking is available off Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, 3 miles north of Northlake Boulevard, close to Corbett Wildlife Management Area. Address is 12385 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, West Palm Beach, 33418 (Google Map). Seminole Pratt Road becomes a drivable dirt road just past the entrance to JW Corbett Wildlife Management Area.

Please note that several navigation apps may direct you to drive on a canal road off Beeline Highway. That is not drivable. The only road to the parking lot is Seminole Pratt Whitney Road.

Please no pets or unsupervised minors.
