Adventure Awaits - Morning Stroll with Pack and Paddle

REGISTRATION OPENS 2/4/26 @ 12PM

Come and explore the trails of Winding Waters Natural Area! Join our friends of Palm Beach Pack & Paddle https://www.pbpnp.club for a leisurely 2 mile hike on the trails of this 500-acre natural area.

Winding Waters contains a diversity of habitats, such as mesic flatwoods, hydric hammock, depression marsh, wet prairie, and dome swamp. Several areas were cleared for agricultural purposes and have been restored to shallow-water and deep-water marshes. Birdlife is abundant with bald eagles, anhingas, green herons, belted kingfishers, wood storks, roseate spoonbills, and loggerhead shrikes making appearances.

We will be walking over uneven ground so please wear closed-toed shoes. Also don’t forget to bring water, sun protection, and be advised that some areas may be sandy, wet, or muddy.

This site does NOT have restroom facilities, but they are available at nearby Dyer Park.

We will meet at the Winding Waters parking lot which is located within Dyer Park (Google Map).

No pets and children must be accompanied by an adult.
