Adventure Awaits - Morning Paddle at Ocean Ridge Natural Area

Single (1-person) Kayaks provided – FREE!

Come explore Palm Beach County’s Ocean Ridge Natural Area! This is a special opportunity to explore a natural area only accessible by pedestrian and small boat traffic. As there is no parking at the natural area, we will be meeting at Ocean Inlet Park. From there, we will paddle south along the Intracoastal Waterway approximately 2 miles to Ocean Ridge Natural Area. Once we reach the natural area, participants will have the option to leave their kayaks and explore the natural area on foot, before paddling the channels through the mangroves and returning to the park.

Ages 13 and up welcome. Parts of this paddle will be on the busy Intracoastal Waterway; all attendees must have PRIOR kayak experience. This paddle will be 4-5 hours round trip, please bring water and a snack. There are restrooms at Ocean Inlet Park, but no restrooms will be available once we start the paddle.

We will meet at the south end of Ocean Inlet Park. Ocean Inlet Park is located at 6990 N. Ocean Boulevard, Ocean Ridge, Florida 33435

Be prepared for a fun, wet outdoor activity. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, a dry bag and comfortable, appropriate clothing that will get wet.

Masks are required for all participants (regardless of vaccination status) that are not able to maintain social distancing.
