Advent Wreath Making Party
Advertisement
Holy Trinity is excited to invite you and your family to a lovely evening of preparing for the mystery of Christmas together!
Advent is the season when Christians anticipate and prepare for the coming of Jesus. One tradition that helps us prepare is making an Advent wreath. The wreath is a visual symbol that marks the season's progress. Each week has a theme of hope, peace, joy or love, represented by a purple or pink candle, until Christmas, when we light the white Christ candle in the center.
🕔 ARRIVE ANYTIME BETWEEN 5 AND 6PM
We'll have everything your family needs to make one Advent wreath together for your home. (It's super easy!) While you work, enjoy live Christmas jazz from saxophonist Dave Jones, along with drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
🎅 KIDS, WEAR YOUR CHRISTMAS JAMMIES!
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to share cookies and hot chocolate with you. Photos are welcome, don't forget your cameras!
🌲 WHAT TO BRING
• A suggested donation of $10 per wreath
• An appetizer or tapas-style dish to share
• Handheld pruning shears or garden snips, if you have them (bring a second pair to share if you can!)
• A pair of scissors
🎟️ RSVP BY WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18
Click "Get Tickets" to let us know how many in your family are coming. One ticket per wreath, please!
