Established in 2009, The Boom Squad has quickly become one of the leading and most sought-after music ensembles in Southern Texas. Under the direction of Gary Poffenbarger with assistance from John Caputo, the ensemble has performed throughout San Antonio and Austin. The innovative group has also been featured on TV seven times in the last three years (five live TV and three prerecorded) on the San Antonio Living show (NBC WOAI 4) and the Great Day SA show (CBS KENS 5) for an estimated audience of 250,000 people. The Boom Squad, led and run by its members, has also established a robust internet and social media presence through Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The combined reach of these platforms has exceeded 150,000 unique views from people from all over the world.
