About this Event
The ASRT Program helps high school teachers and science fair directors create meaningful STEM research opportunities for their students. Through free, in-person workshops funded by Regeneron and ZEISS, participants gain curriculum, activities, and ongoing support to grow science research programs of any size. This PD will take place on July 13 - 16, and full participation is required.
Covers all stages of the STEM research process and presentations including:
- Recruiting students
- Year-by-year research activities
- Calendars and Timing for short-term and long-term projects
- Recruiting and working with mentors
- Research papers and Poster/PowerPoint presentations
- Data analysis, statistics, and databases
- Competitions and STEM showcases
- Branding (Making it a "thing")
- Organizing school-based symposiums/showcases
