Advances in Cancer Care, Research, and Health Policy in Puerto Rico

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The 2nd Annual UPRCCC Scientific Congress will feature a variety of discussions across forums focusing on the amalgamation of clinical guidelines, medical and surgical treatments, breakthroughs in scientific inquiry, healthcare policy, and translational research. The primary goal of the conference is to advocate for a multidisciplinary approach to cancer research, which encompasses translational and clinical studies, behavioral interventions, and public policy initiatives. Emphasis will be placed on showcasing contemporary and developing clinical care tactics for patients with oncological conditions.

Registration includes: Lunch, Break, and Reception on Thursday | Breakfast, Lunch and Breaks on Friday.

Credit Designation

• The Ponce Medical School Foundation accredited this program for 12.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
• The Ponce School of Medicine submitted to the Nursing Board (ORCPS) for accreditation of this educational activity for a maximum of 12.5 credits subject to approval.

Cancellation Policy:

The registration fee, less a 25% administrative fee, will be refunded when the organizing committee receives written notification before April 10, 2024, between April 11, 2024, and April 20, 2024, a 50% administrative fee will be charged. No refunds will be made if the notification is received after April 21, 2024
