Advancements in Digital Dentistry
This course offers an overview of the latest advancements in digital dentistry, focusing on provisional restorations, CAD/CAM abutments, and intra-oral scanning. The course will discuss lab workflows and capabilities using digital technology. Additionally, the importance of using OEM components and final abutment options leveraging an all-digital workflow will be highlighted.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn how you can transform your practice from analog to digital with intraoral scanning.
- Understand the history of final abutment options and the importance of using genuine parts.
- Learn about the Encode Emergence system‘s clinical relevance, workflow options, and the difference between Ti-Base vs. CAD/CAM.
- Get an update on lab workflows and procedures, fixed-fee pricing, and more.
About the Speaker:
Lonny Abrams
Lonny is the Regional Sales Manager for ZimVie on the West Coast. He has over 7 years of experience in the dental implant field and travels regionally to share his knowledge and passion for digital dentistry. Lonny is a Bay Area native, growing up in Burlingame and attending UC Santa Cruz where he completed his bachelor’s degree. In his spare time, Lonny enjoys hiking with his dog, learning to play golf, and being with family and friends.
