Advanced Surf Fishing 101
About this Event
Our Advanced Surf Fishing class builds on the introductory class to surf fishing. This class will teach skills on how to tie your own fish finder rig, advanced knots, and more technical aspects to surf fishing. Kids from ages 6 to adults are welcome, so come out to Bass Pro Shops and enjoy the class! You must RSVP to attend.
Details for the event:
• What to bring: Dress is casual. Check the weather report and dress appropriately. You will be inside. Other items to consider bringing include snacks and a reusable water bottle. It is always helpful to have a notebook handy to take notes.
• Costs: The class is free of charge.
• Weather: Classes are held rain or shine unless hazardous weather occurs (like a hurricane).
• Parking: Just park in the parking lot at Bass Pro Shops and walk on in. The classroom is towards the back of the building.
New SCDNR Marine Resources Division Public Program Event Policy- Our free public programs are in high demand and there is limited capacity, do not reserve a ticket if you cannot commit to attending this event. If an attendee cancels their ticket without a valid excuse and/or is a no show, SCDNR has the right to refuse the attendee to participate in any SCDNR public program for a year.
