About this Event

The Advanced Search Warrants class is a two day class designed to teach students a variety of complex search warrants. The primary focus of the class will be to familiarize students with 1546 of the Penal Code. The students will be shown not only how to write complex search warrants, but more importantly to evaluate each of the warrant types as an investigative technique to determine which warrants are best to use in various situations. Students will be introduced to warrants covering :

• Cell phones, DVR's, and computers
• Facebook, Instagram, Google and Snapchat
• Google geofence
• Cell phone Area Searches
• Phone pings
• Cell phone call data records
• Cell phone advanced location data
• Tower dumps
• 1332PC arrest warrants
