The advancements in ultrasound technologies allow for intervention pain management injections to be more precise than traditional blind injection techniques. Empire Medical Training’s Advance Musculoskeletal U.S. Guided Injection workshop expands upon the introductory course and 3-Day Pain Management Course in the application of utilizing MSK ultrasound technologies for advanced injections.
The Advanced Interventional Pain sonography course is very specific as to the indications for treatment resulting from sub-acute and chronic pain conditions and the ability to utilize ultrasound for image guidance to perform various nerve blocks and anesthesia options.
The program is designed for Practitioners who wish to be able to expand their pain management options and learn the “pearls” associated with the injection but also the indications for treatment, pertinent anatomy, needle placement, and patient positioning for injections.
