ADVANCED MRI SAFETY SEMINAR by Prof Gilk - 2027 - KC
About this Event
Advance your MRI safety expertise.
The Advanced MRI Safety Seminar returns for another year bringing continuing education directly to Kansas and Missouri practitioners and their neighboring states. Led by Professor Tobias Gilk, one of the field's most recognized voices in MRI safety, this three-day course is designed for healthcare professionals who work with MRI machines and want a deeper, standards-based understanding of how to keep patients and staff safe.
Why MRI Safety Matters
MRI is core to modern medical facilities and hospitals, and properly trained staff are essential to safe, efficient operations. MRI accidents are costly, largely preventable with existing best practices, and can turn patients away from care when radiographers and radiologists aren't equipped to assess risk. Strong MRI safety training reduces cost, lowers liability, increases MRI volume, and improves staff confidence and satisfaction.
