In this 8-week class, Take a journey into long form 2 and study the art of long form storytelling. With an emphasis in narrative story arcs players will focus on weaving together something more resembling an improvised play rather than independent improvised scenes. In long form two students will learn about different comedic and dramatic genres and the tropes that define the media we all see everyday. Taught by Jamie Campbell Learn how to become master storytellers of fun engaging tales in the The Bird Long Form II Class! Learn improv seen on the bird stage as well as different exercise to develop all the tools you need to be your best self!

Classes take place Saturdays from 7pm-9pm, October 15th 2022 - December 10th, with a class performance Thursday, December 15th at 7:30pm. All at The Bird Comedy Theater in The Crossroads Arts District!

Taught by Jamie Campbell

Jamie Campbell is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, improviser, and storyteller. A veteran of over 30 comedy and Fringe festivals, his performances have have garnered numerous , including ""Best of Fringe"" in Kansas City and Tucson, ""Best Stand-up or Variety Performance"" by San Antonio's Bexar Stage, and Chicago's ""Best Stand-Up Comedian"" by The Chicago Reader. His album, Tell Me You’re Proud of Me, debuted at #1 on Amazon’s comedy charts. He is a decorated playwright and screenwriter. As an actor has been seen on countless television commercials and has appeared on NBC's Chicago Fire and Pop TV's Hollywood Darlings.
