ADVANCED LITTLE ROBOTITIONS CAMP Ages 6-8

REQUIREMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ADVANCED LITTLE ROBOTITIONS CAMP - COMPLETION OF THE BASIC LITTLE ROBOTITIONS CAMP IN 2019 OR 2020. In the ADVANCED Little Robotitions Robotics Camp, younger students will learn how to apply their new skills in science, engineering, technology, and coding using the LEGO WeDo 2.0 robotics kits and software. In this camp, students will apply the important 21st century skill of programming the intuitive way – by bringing their adorable creations to life. They will complete "fill in the blank" robot design & programming projects, expanding & solidifying what they learned in their Basic Little Robotitions Camp. What parents love, and the students don’t realize, is they are also sharpening computational thinking skills like logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and modeling simulations. In the Advanced Little Robotitions Robotics Camp, children are empowered to ask the right questions, define problems, and design their own solutions by putting scientific discovery in their own hands. They'll also learn gracious professionalism from the valley's own award-winning 5026 Tesla Coils FTC Robotics Team. Class sizes are limited to 10 kids per session.
CSI SUMMER CAMP COVID-SAFETY PLAN NOTES
• Masks: Per the current recommendations of South Central District Health, we are requiring students, parents, and instructors to wear masks at all summer camps. Should those restrictions change between now and the summer, we will let you know, but please be prepared for masks at this point
• Distancing: We will keep students distanced three feet apart as much as we can, but that will not be possible at all times during all camps. Please be aware there will be times when the students are shoulder to shoulder.
