Join Inspira Dance’s own Marianna for an Advanced Line Dance Workshop in Ballston Quarter! 🤠✨
Ready to take on one of the hottest new phrased dances? In this workshop, we’ll learn Banana Boat, choreographed by Paige Glickman and Kiley Faulkner to Don’t Wanna Go Home by Jason Derulo.
This workshop is best suited for intermediate dancers who can:
- Dance to counts
- Know named movements like sailor/coaster/wizard steps
- Can do syncopations
During this workshop, we’ll take our time breaking down every section, explaining the trickier transitions and variations, and practicing thoroughly so you’ll leave feeling confident and ready to dance it on the honky-tonk hardwood floors soon!
Schedule
12:00–12:30pm: Part A
12:30–1:00pm: Part B & variations
1:00–1:30pm: Putting it all together (including restarts)
1:30–2:00pm: Guided practice
After 2:00pm, we’ll stick around a little longer for anyone who wants extra practice or has any questions!
📍 Ballston Quarter – 4238 Wilson Blvd, Suite 2220, Arlington (Level 2)
🚗 Paid garage: $1 for three hours + directly connected to the Metro
