You can pour a heart. Now you want cleaner lines, better symmetry and a design you can repeat.
I'm Anand Patel, owner of Hidden Grounds Chai & Coffee House. Join me inside our Jersey City training facility for a small-group advanced latte-art workshop focused on the details that change your pour.
With just 8 guests, you'll get hands-on practice and individual correction as we build from a solid heart toward stacked tulips and flowing rosettas.
WHAT WE'LL WORK ON
• Refining microfoam texture for controlled, detailed designs
• Managing cup angle, pitcher height and flow rate
• Building a clean canvas and placing your design
• Stacking tulip layers with controlled pushes and spacing
• Developing rosetta rhythm, movement and a clean finish
• Improving contrast, symmetry and consistency
• Diagnosing your pours with real-time feedback from Anand
We'll begin with a short technique check, move into focused demonstrations and practice rounds, and finish with a friendly Latte Art Throwdown.
IS THIS THE RIGHT LEVEL FOR ME?
You should already be comfortable steaming milk and pouring a basic heart. Hidden Grounds Latte Art 101 or equivalent practice at home or behind a coffee bar is a good foundation. You don't need to have mastered tulips or rosettas yet.
If you're completely new to an espresso machine, start with Latte Art 101. This class spends more time refining technique and practicing more detailed patterns.

You'll leave with coached practice in tulips and rosettas, a clearer understanding of what to adjust, and a focused plan for your next pours. Progress will depend on your starting level; the goal is better control and repeatable technique.

General Admission: $99
Coffee Date / Bring-a-Friend: $185 for two — select 2 tickets at $92.50 each; both guests should meet the experience requirement.
