Why does it show as free but there are actually tickets? Bc I don't want ya'll to have to pay an additional $10 or whatever in fees, when you can just go to my website like everyone else and pay the right price.
If you’ve joined us for our Intro to Kinusaiga Workshop (or you’re ready for a bigger challenge), come level up in our Advanced Kinusaiga Workshop. You’ll receive a prepared 5x7 foam board and choose from a variety of printed designs to cut into the foam. Then you’ll create a vibrant, Japanese-inspired Kinusaiga fabric-art scene using fabric scraps—relaxing, tactile, and surprisingly addictive.
Your design choice and fabric picks make your piece completely your own, and you’ll leave with a finished artwork to take home—plus the satisfaction of giving fabric scraps a second life. 💕
Safety & suitability: This workshop requires good hand dexterity and comfort working with an X-Acto blade. Recommended for ages 15+
Want to bring your own design? You’re welcome to! Please bring it sized to 5x7. For best results, choose a design with larger, simple shapes—avoid small details, intricate patterns, and thin or delicate shapes. (Rounded edges can also be harder to cut smoothly.) And heads up: whatever paper design you bring will be cut up and destroyed during the process.
If you prefer, you can also draw your design directly onto the foam before cutting.
Upgrade your finished piece with a polished look—add a white shadow box frame (+$7) at checkout. Not available for purchase at the workshop.

Parking
Free Parking is available at the lot across the street from the venue & at all the parking garages in Town Center. Be sure not to park in a street spot labeled for 2 hours, and this workshop can often run 2.5-3 hours.
Refund policy
Because seating is limited and supplies are purchased in advance:
- No refunds within 7 days of the event
- Cancellations more than 7 days before the event can choose a refund or ticket transfer/credit (if available)
- You can transfer your ticket to a friend—just message me the name for check-in
