Professor Sebastian Cotofana will be returning as invited faculty to our Los Angeles course. He will share his expertise through an in-depth presentation on facial anatomy as it relates to safe and effective aesthetic procedures. Internationally recognized as a leading anatomist, Dr. Cotofana is an Associate Professor of Anatomy at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. He received his M.D. degree and first Ph.D. degree in Medical Science from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany. He obtained his second Ph.D. in Anatomy from Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, Austria. In his scientific work, Dr. Cotofana specializes in anatomy and aging medicine as relevant to plastic surgery and dermatology. He is an international speaker and Live Dissector at many meetings, international conferences and workshops. Dr. Cotofana also serves as a reviewer for more than 15 scientific journals and has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and books.

Combining their expertise in medical education, injection therapy and facial anatomy, Dr. Swift and Professor Cotofana have carefully crafted a select training curriculum geared towards proficiency in safe, effective and affordable treatments. COVID POLICIES:

Our hotel partner, the 1 Hotel West Hollywood, is taking all measures to ensure the safety of all visitors and guests. The property - including all meeting spaces - will be completely sanitized using hospital-grade EPA approved agents and virus-eliminating UV technologies. All guests and team members will be required to have a temperature check prior to entering the property and masks will be required. Throughout the property, there will be touchless hand sanitizers and social distancing guidance through signage and monitoring. High touch points like door handles and elevator surfaces as well as public area furniture will be sanitized multiple times per day using UV technologies. The general session of the event will be held in the Sunset Ballroom, a 3,905 SF space that regularly seats 196 guests classroom style. Our event will be capped at a fraction of this rate to ensure proper social distancing and ample space between each guest. Our check in will be hands-free and all meals will be served individually to mitigate additional handling. Guest materials, including your registration materials and breakout kits, will be pre-packaged a week in advance and will be picked up only by you at check-in.
