The course details
We all recognise that debriefing is the most challenging part of, and yet the most important element of simulation based education. Therefore, we have created an opportunity for you to spend a day focused on debriefing tools and techniques in the UHBW Simulation Centre.
This one day course aims to build on your debriefing and simulation experience and would suit anyone who wants to enhance this core skill.
During the course you will:
- Learn a toolkit of debriefing skills (iTrust model)
- Recognise which technique is appropriate for which situation
- Practice applying debriefing tools with expert supervision
This course is facilitated by a multi-disciplinary faculty who are experienced and enthusiastic practitioners of simulation within a wide range of healthcare contexts.

- This course is free for staff of University Hospital Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
