Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) provides knowledge for immediate care of the burn patient for the first 24 hours post injury.
About this Event

The course covers the following topics:

  • Airway and Inhalation Injuries
  • Shock and Fluid Resuscitation
  • Wound Management
  • Electrical and Chemical Injuries
  • Pediatric Burn Injuries
  • Stabilization, Transfer and Transport
  • Burn Disaster Management

The ABLS Provider Course is an eight-hour course for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, and paramedics.

*The American Burn Association designates this continuing medical education activity for up to 7.25 credit hours in Category 1 of the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. This program also has been approved by the AACN for 7.40 contact hours Category A.
