Advanced Bookbinding Workshop with Flyaway Fox

Join us for a FREE Bookbinding Workshop at the Pittsburgh Center For Creative Reuse! This event is ideal for self taught bookbinders or previous attendees looking to expand on their talents, but open to everyone 13+!

Nova from Flyaway Fox (@Flyawayfox) will teach you how to bind and decorate your own hard-cover journal using hand-sewn techniques. For those familiar with the craft, both coptic & kettle stitches will be covered in this workshop! You will also learn ways to incorporate reused and scrap material into "Junk Journal" style art books.

Creative Reuse is a supportive space, open to folks with any level of artistic ability. Our goal is to foster expression and creative community, not perfection. Just bring an open mind– we’ll cover the rest.
