Advanced Balboa Routine at the Boulder Elks Lodge

Join YaPing Su and Heather Ballew for a fun and challenging balboa routine! This is a routine that was performed at the Winter Ball in 2023. It was designed for students who have had 1-2 years of balboa lessons or comparable experience. Participants should be very comfortable dancing balboa up to 190 bpm. Please reach out to YaPing or Heather if you are not sure if it’s right for you. We aim to complete the routine in 10 weeks. Partners are not guaranteed. Choosing a partner in advance is recommended. There will be opportunities to perform at the local venues and, possibly, at the Winter Ball. We aim to be inclusive but could be limited on space by the venue size.

Class time: 7:30-9:00 weekly
Cost: $150 ($15/week paid up front. Student discounts and alternate payment options available).
