Adults Waitangi Bone Carving Workshop

Come and enjoy a day of fun and learning, making a beautiful Maori Taonga (pendant) from Beef bone and Paua shell participants will be able to choose from two designs the hei matau (fish hook) or the roimata (tear drop)

Values such as tikanga (processes), whanaungatanga (togetherness), manaakitanga (support) and mahi toi (working towards a finished art piece) are incorporated.

Please bring a plate for shared lunch. All materials included. Workshop aimed for adults aged 18 years and over.
