Adults Night Out: Holidaze

Leave the kids at home and head to the zoo for Adults Night Out: Holidaze. Guests will enjoy unique animal chats, educational entertainment, a live DJ and multiple bars throughout the zoo at this after-hours event. No kids. No crowds. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• Do I have to wear a face covering? In accordance with city and state guidelines, please wear a face covering inside all zoo buildings, including animal buildings, restrooms, and the Gift Shop. The impact of COVID-19 on animals remains to be determined so we appreciate your cooperation. If you would like to enter our animal buildings during your visit, please bring a face covering with you or pick one up at the Gift Shop on the zoo’s Main Mall.

• Where can I park? Guests who wish to drive can pay to park in the Lincoln Park Zoo lot on Cannon Drive. For additional information and pricing, please visit lpzoo.org/visit. Lincoln Park Zoo is also accessible by public transportation. Due to traffic, public transportation is highly recommended.

• Can tickets be traded, transferred or refunded? If you are not able to make it to the event, you can transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. The name on the ticket does not need to match your ID. There are no refunds for tickets purchased for special events at the zoo.

• What happens if it rains? All events are held rain or shine. Please dress accordingly!

• Will I see animals? Will buildings be open? We hope you’ll see animals, but we can’t guarantee it (animals can always choose whether to be visible; this is an animal welfare consideration). The best ways to see animals are to attend chats and enrichment sessions and to visit animals inside buildings.

• I am a member. How can I apply my membership number? To redeem your member discount when purchasing tickets to this event, click “REGISTER NOW” at the top of the website, click “TICKETS," click “ENTER PROMOTIONAL CODE,” enter the first three digits of your Lincoln Park Zoo membership number, select “APPLY CODE," select the number of tickets you wish to purchase and proceed to checkout.

• Is this event accessible? Yes! To learn about accessibility at Lincoln Park Zoo, please visit lpzoo.org/accessibility.

• What are the age restrictions for this event? 18+. No one under this age will be permitted into the event. All guests must have a ticket.

• Can I purchase tickets at the door? We recommend purchasing in advance as prices are higher at the door, but if tickets remain we will sell them at the door.

• What items are prohibited at this event? Lincoln Park Zoo has a strict policy of restricted items for this event. Bags will be checked by security at the gates. Please note the below prohibited items:

• NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES
• No water bottles, beverage containers, cans, or bottles
• No folding chairs
• No luggage of any kind
• No animals (with the exception of service animals)
• No coolers (unless medically required)
• No illegal substances
• No noisemakers or balloons
• No segways or motorized scooters
• No thermal containers
• No weapons
• No remote-controlled aircrafts or drones
• No items deemed dangerous or inappropriate

Please be aware that this event will comply with the Illinois Liquor Control Act 235 ILCS 5/6-16(a) A valid ticket with scannable QR code is required by all guests to enter event. It is recommended to print a paper ticket to prevent any technology complications which would prevent your ticket from displaying on your phone. There is no guest list. Each ticket must be scanned. Security reserves the right to inspect all bags and persons. Absolutely no outside food or beverage may be brought into the event. Guests who are deemed intoxicated (or otherwise unfit), will be denied entry and no refunds will be given. We want all guests to enjoy themselves, but our number one priority is the safety of all guests. Any ticketing/technical issues will be handled by Eventbrite.com.
