About this Event
Who for?
Our Adult Learn to Ride course is designed specifically for adults (16+) who have never learned how to ride a bike.
Course Description
The course (3 x 1 hour sessions) will give adults the skills and confidence required to ride a bike with pedals independently.
The course will teach riders how to:
- Fit a helmet
- Mount & dismount the bike
- Balance
- Steer
- Brake
- Pedal
All sessions are held outdoors on floodlit netball courts.
Equipment
Don't worry if you don't have your own bike to use for the course. We have a variety of adult sized bikes that we can lend you. We ask that riders wear a cycle helmet during the courses.
Please indicate when booking if you need to borrow either a bike and/or helmet.
Cost
The course is FREE of charge thanks to funding from the Cycling UK Big Bike Revival project.
