Adulting: Are You Ready? Day Camp

Do you really need to separate your lights and darks when doing laundry? What do I include in my resume and cover letter? What's the ratio for rice to water, again? How do credit cards even work, anyways? As you grow up, you find yourself asking all sorts of questions just like these. To learn the answers to all your ‘adulting’ questions, join us for this weeklong day camp!

We’ll be learning about college and career prep, meal planning and how to cook nutritious meals, budgeting and banking, developing healthy relationships, self-care, and important DIY tasks like laundry and how to change a tire.

Participants will leave camp with an 'adulting tool kit' valued at over $100 to get them started on their way to adulthood.

Come join us at the UF/IFAS Extension Brevard County Office as we learn that nobody ever stops learning how to ‘adult’!

Open to youth ages 15-18. 

Camp runs daily from 9 AM - 4 PM. Lunch will be provided. 

NOTE: Our camp will be following current UF and CDC guidelines for COVID-19. Face coverings will be optional for all participants and instructors.
