A hands on workshop to prepare today's teens to enter the workforce with confidence.About this Event
Class size is deliberately kept small to allow for a fully emersive, hands on experience and encourage discussion.
By the end of this 3-hour program, students should be able to:
- Read,write, endorse a check, deposit slip, and balance a check register
- Read and comprehend a paystub
- Fill out hiring forms including W-4, W-9, I-9
- Read and comprehend tax forms including W-2, 1099-NEC
- Complete a basic tax return
- Understand the basics of taxes in the workplace and how it applies to their situation.
