Curious about animation? In this hands-on class, we will discover both the how and why of designing flip books, the foundation of animation. Flip books are a great way to tell stories, refine drawing skills, organize ideas all while using creativity and critical thinking. We will go through step-by-step instructions to help you create a flip book with ease!

What to Expect:

· Learn how sequential drawings create the illusion of movement.

· Explore basic animation concepts, timing, and planning.

· Create a short flipbook animation through guided instruction.

Class Highlights:

· Discover the fundamentals of hand-drawn animation.

· Develop drawing, sequencing, and storytelling skills.

· Take home a finished flipbook animation.
