French artist, Henri Matisse’s mobility was restricted after becoming ill in 1941 and undergoing lifesaving surgery. To compensate, Matisse began “drawing with scissors,” creating vibrant collages with the help of his studio assistants.Join GRAM Studio in exploring his colorful compositions as you “cut into color” like Matisse, to create an original painted collage.
