For beginners to advanced artists.This class is an opportunity to learn about different drawing skills and ways to represent pictures in graphic form. The focus will be on the difference between looking and really seeing and how to express that experience. Also we will explore how much of this information can be expressed subjectively versus objectively. In this class, learn what makes a good drawing and how to better think creatively. Students are encouraged to bring their own printed photos to work from. There will be plenty of individual guidance and help for each student on their individual projects. Taught by an accomplished professional artist.
About Mike Berlinski:
Mike began drawing and painting at the age of seven. He is basically self-taught and works primarily in oil paints. Mike is a serious and devoted painter and has been working to develop and express his talent for over twenty years. During this time, he has exhibited in many art galleries and art exhibitions. In all of Connecticut and surrounding states, Mike finds places to paint, explore, and express his passion for the natural world. Favorite places include the Farmington Valley, Cape Ann, and Cape Cod.
