Adult sewing workshop: Upcycled Sweater Lettering

Join The Studio and Amanda as she shares her love of sewing with her community. In this workshop attendees will learn to operate a sewing machine and hem their garments. This is such a valuable skill and we can’t wait for you to join us!

Price: Two ticket options:

1. Whole workshop $75: This choice is good for someone that has little to no knowledge of sewing and operating a sewing machine.From 10-12pm we will learn the basics of machine operation and the second half, 12-3pm, we will learn to

2. Second half of workshop $60: This choice is good for someone that already knows how to operate their machine but is interested in learning to hem and apply this technique to personal items. This half of the workshop will go from 12-3pm.

Note****This class is NON-REFUNDABLE but it is transferable.

Time:

Full workshop: 10-2pm

Second half: 12-3pm

What is provided:

Sewing machines, tools, thread, and fabric for lettering (if you have your own machine it is encouraged that you bring it)

Snacks

What to bring:

-Sweater (crewneck is going to be the best for this project)
-Snacks of your own and water
