Adult sewing workshop: Learn to sew, make a bandana

Join The Studio and Amanda as she shares her love of sewing with her community. In celebration of Amanda's birthday month and her love of animals, students will learn to sew then make a pet collar and bandana! This is such a valuable skill and we can’t wait for you to join us!

Price: Two ticket options:

1. Whole workshop $75: This choice is good for someone that has little to no knowledge of sewing and operating a sewing machine. From 10am-11:45 we will learn the basics of machine operation and the second half, 12-2pm, we will learn to make the pet collar and bandana

2. Second half of workshop $60: This choice is good for someone that already knows how to operate their machine but is interested in extra practice and guidance in finishing a simple project. This half of the workshop will go from 12-2pm.
Amanda is a fur mama to dog Ava and wants to celebrate her birthday month with making our fur-children a fashionable accessory!

Note****This class is NON-REFUNDABLE but it is transferable.

We are located on the corner of 20th and D street in downtown Bakersfield.

Time:
Saturday 3/15

Full workshop: 10am-2pm

We will be taking a snack break 11:45am-12pm

Second half: 12-2pm

What is provided:

Sewing machines, tools, thread, and materials for pet collar and bandana

Light snacks and water

What to bring:

Reusable water bottle

Snacks (we are providing snacks, but you are also welcome to bring your own)

Sewing machine- If you own one (NOT REQUIRED, only encouraged if you are learning)
Material- If you would like to use your own fabric, we will be using scrap cotton fabrics, having 1/2 of a yard of fabric is enough for the workshop (NOT REQUIRED)
